Welcome to Notts Weekend Walkers.  We’re a friendly group of members mostly in our mid-30s to 50s that enjoys regular walks of various lengths from in a variety of locations.

In addition to our regular Sunday walks, we also organise weekends away and various social events including pub meets, meals out and lots more. New members whether experienced walkers or not are very welcome.

transport and meeting points

Our walks are usually on Sundays.  For day walks we normally travel by car, sharing transport wherever possible to minimise petrol and pollution.  Meet us in front of the Nottingham Playhouse, Wellington Circus, Nottingham at 9.00am where free parking is available. There’s no need to book, just turn up on the day if you wish.  Passengers are requested to make a contribution towards the driver’s petrol costs.   Walks normally depart from the start point between 10.00am and 10.30am.
